Def-i has a new project dropping in four days and I sent him a message last night inquiring about format(s). Hoping to be able to order something physical. I also mentioned wanting to grab Ready to Live if available in a physical format. Felt kinda foolish for not already doing the simple legwork of a google search in an attempt to already make such a purchase. I felt the same thing after doing that search and seeing that I wasn't even aware that brother Andy had his website on lock. So glad to see it is here. I don't see an indication of physical versions of the work we've been blessed to receive, I will keep looking but I want everyone involved with maintaining the site and Wake Self's legacy to know that his work and it's reach has generated enough demand that fans and supporters who may not have the opportunity to offer financial support locally are out here looking for avenues by which we can still give something. Whether those funds go to his family or the causes he championed or right back into keeping his words alive, I for one feel blessed to have known him and hope to see his work available in as many forms as possible. Personally I'd love Ready to Live on vinyl but I'm not picky. Mom asked me today what I want for Christmas, if I don't find an opportunity to order a physical copy of the music I'll at the very least be back (well mom will) to order a hoodie. Thank you for keeping him alive in this way and giving us the chance to honor Wake Self. Much Love. Ish the Stomach

Andy came up to Durango and played a show w my homies and he was so talented my mind was blown. A few of us went over to one of the artists houses that night and he came through and chilled and smoked with us. There were 3 maybe 4 people there. He didn’t care there was no party he engaged with each one of us. He was the party. I will never forget that night and his energy. Thank you for the memory Andy. Still jamming your magic.

Hi there Andy. Sitting here thinking about what we would be doing. Freddie hasn't been feeling really well but I figured it out and hopefully he will get better soon. Your lil big bro is 15 and half years old. The old doggie is get younger everyday (as you would say). I am going to do yard work tomorrow and get some plants, something else you and I would do. I miss my calls and our talks and "Momma what you doing"? I talk to your pictures everyday and try really hard to get up and do something. I miss you Andy and I love you so much. It seems so unreal that you still can't come home. Love you sonny boy

Love the video on FNX about respecting women. It's about more than just rap. We all need to question our own thoughts and actions. From BlairJ, a white man with open ears.

Infinite love, appreciation, respect, and good energy for you Brother. I hardly ever met you, and I slept on what an amazing artist you were, I'm sorry. But ever since the day you passed away, when I finally started listening through all of your work, I have felt your presence here and there, unmistakably. And your songs have done so much to help save my soul and inspire me to be my best. You were and are one of a kind. You made your mark here in this world. And no matter how many or how few recognize it, you are forever etched in the True School Hip Hop hall of fame. Thank you so much. Love you so much. Thank you so much. You are amazing. Truly and absolutely amazing.

I still cant believe you are gone. But YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN! I remember 1st meeting you at my house when Chris aka Def-I would stop by when he was in the area of Farmington. Just got home from your album release party, the vibe was crazy positive! I still remember when I first met you while I was working at Sandia, you were inbetween shows at the moment! Glad I got to meet you in person a few times, but I was still learning about the man behind the name! ? 505 will keep you in our hearts, always! Much love to you up above, and your family! Wish I grabbed that shirt your mom threw into the crowd. Your music will live on forever!! #HomeIsWhereTheHeartIs!!! 505True ???
